2010 INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS AWARDS

The Jury process for The Santo Foundation 2011 Individual Artist Awards are now completed. This year’s distinguished juror, Peter Doroshenko, Director of the Dallas Contemporary carefully reviewed 783 artists to insure each candidate received his full attention.

The international call for entry yielded highly diversified candidates from 46 of the United States and 8 international artists. We would like to thank Mr. Doroshenko for his expertise, diligence, and serious consideration of all of our candidates.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Committee we wish to congratulate: Zoe Crosher, Los Angeles, California, and Nigel Bennet, Cambridge, United Kingdom selected as this years top award winners. Each will receive a $3500.00 honorarium to be used at the artists’ discretion.

Our curatorial staff will be contacting other top candidates for upcoming exhibition opportunities and travel stipends.
